Bellevue School Board Visit - Please come for the discussion

Date:
Tuesday, October 8
Time:
9:00a - 9:30a
Where:
Somerset Elementary

The Bellevue School Board is coming to Somerset! The primary goals for school visits are for Board members to become more familiar with each school, in its own context; to provide time for stakeholders of that school to interact with the Board; and for the Board to hear and ask questions about school goals and improvement plans. This is an opportunity for genuine interaction for you and your school community with the Board. (See Procedure 1400P).

You are invited to engage in discussion with the school board during the parent session from 9:00-9:30 in the school library or log in and watch the meeting through the link on the district website’s Board Docs section. Please RSVP using the link below if you are attending so we can be make plans related to student arrival, parking, and space in the library. https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=OUFKmQZ8HkmAmHkAbVdd4NUm2nmpvJ1LqVYE4iBauH5UMUwwWkEyMklHRlQ1TTZTTUlSNTBPVjY1Mi4u&route=shorturl

Somerset PTSA’s 2024 Fall Fundraising Drive

Somerset PTSA’s 2024 Fall Fundraising Drive

We have officially kicked off the Somerset PTSA's 2024 Fall Fundraising Drive at Curriculum Night! Many of you may have seen our Fall Fundraising letter during Curriculum Night or in your child’s Friday folder. This year, the PTSA needs to raise $278,785! On average, we spend $395 per student to support a wide range of programs and activities. This significant funding requirement is due to a shortfall between government funding and the actual cost of maintaining and enhancing our educational programs.

Your donations are essential to bridging this gap! The funds we raise support every aspect of your child’s school experience at Somerset, from drop-off to pick-up and everything in between. Your generous support ensures that Somerset remains one of the best elementary schools in the region! For more details on how the funds will be used and to make your donation to help us meet our Fall Fundraising goal of $180,000, please click here to visit our donation page.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our school community. Together, we can achieve great things for our children by bridging the gap between parents, teachers, and students!
